Bu yüksek medyada etki yaratmasa da sokaklarda, okullarda oldukça gündemde kalıyordu bunu bu kadar gençlerin gözünde havalı kılan ise bunları yapanların Lise çağlarında olan çocukların/gençlerin yapmasıydı ve git gide Harlem'e ilgi duyulur hale getiriyordu. Ailesi ve okulu ile sorun yaşayan gençlerin oldukça ilgi odağı olmuştu.

Çevredekilerin ihbarı üzerine olay yerine sağlık ve itfaiye ekibi sevk edildi. Otomobilde sıkışan Rodmar Thorstein (24) sağlık görevlileri tarafından yapılan kontrolde yaşamını yitirdiği belirlenirken, yaralanan kimsenin olmadığı bildirildi.. Rodmar T.’nin cansız bedeni olay yerinde yapılan incelemenin ardından otopsi için morga kaldırıldı.
