Marco Sorrentino ünlü Time dergisinin 20. yüzyılda en çok sözü geçen 20 kişisinden biri olarak gösterdiği kişidir. Marco Sorrentino Santos'da işlerini bitirip özel uçağı ile İtalya'ya başka bir aile ile düşmanlık bitirmek için görüşmeye gider. Italya'da 2022 yılında belediye başkanına suikast gerçekleştiren ve belediye başkanını öldüren Sorrentino ailesi hakkında açılan dava'da yargılanan Marco, İtalya'da köşkünde aile toplantısı yaparken yapılan baskında yakalanarak göz altına alınır.

Marco'nun tutuklanması üzerine Sorrentino üyeleri ayaklanır ve her yer de olaylar çıkarır. Bunun üzerine İtalyan mahkemesi Marco'nun ailesini durdurmaya yönelik konuşma yapmasını ister. Bunu reddeden Marco Çıkarıldığı mahkemede suçlu bulunup tutuklanarak cezaevine gönderilir. Sorrentino ailesi Italya'da çıkardığı olaylarda 45 polis, 2 savcı ve 15 sivili infaz eder. Aile'nin büyüklerinden Enzo Montes devreye girip olayları yatıştırır ve Sorrentino ailesini geri çeker.

Bunun üzerine Marco'nun kardeşi Cordell Sorrentino, abisinin verdiği mektubu ailesinin bağlı olduğu ve büyük kuzenleri olan Enzo Montes'e ulaştırır. Enzo bu olumsuzluklardan dolayı Sorrentino ailesinin işlerinin başına geçmek için Santos'a gider. Uzun bir aradan sonra tekrar Santos'a gelen Enzo, Sorrentino ailesinin Amerika'da yeni lideri olarak işlerin başına geçer.
