Los Santos Şerif Departmanı Los Santos halkının haklarını, canlarını, mallarını ve mülkiyetlerini korumak olmakla birlikte onlara daha güvenlikli bir yaşam ortamı sunmayı amaçlamaktadır. Los Santos Şerif Departmanı kendi prosedürlerini uygulayarak dürüst ve onurlu bir şekilde vatandaşlarına hizmet etmektedir. Los Santos Şerif Departmanının temel değerleri, toplumlarımıza hizmet, yasalara uyum, yönetime bağlılık, söylediğimiz ve yaptığımız her şeyde dürüstlük, sürekli geliştirme yoluyla insanlara saygı ve kalitedir. Kısacası temel değerlerinden ve dürüstlüğünden şaşmadan suçun önlenmesi, suçun caydırılması, insan hayatına saygı, suçluların tutuklanması, mülkün geri kazanımı ve iadesi, trafik akışı, kamu hizmeti ve afet müdahalesi gibi hedeflerine ulaşmayı amaçlamaktır.
DEPARTMAN TARIHCESI
Los Santos İlçesi Şerif Departmanı, Meksika-Amerika Savaşı'ndan kısa bir süre sonra 1850'de kuruldu. Bağımsız San Andreas Cumhuriyeti'nin kurulmasından ve Amerika Birleşik Devletleri tarafından gönüllü olarak ilhak edilmesinden sonra, kolluk kuvvetleri Los Santos Korucuları oldu (Los Santos Polis Departmanı ve Los Santos Şerifi). Los Santos'a Sınır döneminde yapılan hücum, büyük bir nüfus patlaması ve suç getirdiği için ilçedekiler en kötü organize suç dönemini gördü. Union Pacific Demiryolu Şirketi başka bir felaket daha getirdi ve birçoğu silahlı çatışmalarda öldürülen şeriflerin çıkmaza girmesine neden oldu. İç savaş sonrasına kadar Şerif Departmanı, şerif ve yardımcıları olarak yandaşlarından oluşuyordu.
1900'lerin başında, Şerif Departmanı, Şerif ve ekibinden ziyade resmen kalıcı bireylerin gerçek bir kurumu haline geldi. 1930'a kadar personellerin üniformalarını kabul etmesi ve hapishanelerin Şerif Departmanı tarafından yönetilmesi resmî değildi. 1930'larda, Şerif Departmanı, Los Santos Polis Departmanına "kırmızı ekip" döneminde yardım etti, özellikle Amerika Sosyalist Partisi'ne saldırdı ve sendika tarafından düzenlenen olayları böldü.
1947'de Şerif Departmanı, ülkedeki ilk kadın UnderSheriff'i işe aldı.
1950'lerden 1970'lere kadar, Şerif Departmanındaki en çalkantılı operasyon dönemi,1961 Davis Yarışı Ayaklanmaları sırasında yaşandı. Şerif Departmanı, büyük çaplı sivil huzursuzluğu bastırmada LSPD'ye yardım etti, 1961 Ayaklanması 1992 Jim Queen isyanlarına kadar dönemin en büyük olaylarından biriydi.
Eski Şerif Mike Collins, 2009'dan 2017'deki düşüşüne kadar şerif departmanının başındaydı. Collins'in saltanatı sırasında yolsuzluk yaygındı ve çete yardımcıları sürekli öne çıkıyordu. İlçenin en iyilerinin arasında, ilçe hapishane sistemindeki ve kırsal kasabalardaki daha az şanslı bireyleri ezmeye istekli bireyler vardı. İhbarlar ve ipuçlarının ardından, bir ACLU davası(Amerikan Sivil Özgürlükler Birliği), FBI'ın kamuya açık yolsuzluk görevlerinin bir parçası olarak ilgilenmesinin ardından Şerifi düşürdü. Collins ve Undersheriff'i Federal hapse mahkum edildi
Federal Adalet Bakanlığı tarafından verilen kısa bir aradan sonra Michael Toreno, özel bir seçim yapıldıktan sonra Los Santos County Şerif'i olarak koltuğu kazandı. Göreve yemin ettikten hemen sonra Şerif Toreno, bölgenin gözaltı tesisleride artan kalabalık sorununa büyük ölçüde yardım etmek için ikiz kuleler Los Santos County hapishanesinin yeniden açılmasını emretti.
Büyük bir halk tepkisi, milletvekillerinin ırksal güdümlü suistimallerle suçlanmasının ardından birkaç gün süren gösteriler ve ayaklanmaların ardından Şerif Toreno'nun istifasını talep etti. Şerif Toreno, Şerif görevinden istifa etti ve hemen yerine UnderSheriff John McShane getirildi. Geçici Şerif olarak yemin etmesinin ardından McShane, özellikle gasp, saldırı ve kapsamlı örtbas gibi faaliyetlerde bulunduğu iddia edilen yaygın "çete yardımcıları" sorununu hedef alarak, departmandaki yolsuzluk ve suistimali ortadan kaldırmaya devam edeceğine söz verdi.
Yeni Şerif seçimleri, Şerif Toreno'nun istifasından önce planlandığı gibi Eylül 2020'de yapıldı. Geçici Şerif McShane kaçmamaya karar verdi ve onun yerine Astı Harold Gaines'i onun yerine göreve aday olmaya çağırdı. Harold Gaines herhangi bir muhalefet olmadan seçildi ve 1 Ekim 2020'de resmi olarak göreve başladı. Gaines'in terfisinden sonra McShane, eski Undersheriff pozisyonunda kalmayı tercih etti.

yönetmelik adı altında olmayan çok şey var, şerifin karısını departmana apoletli sokması gibi vs.
buna ek olarakta oyun adı altında çokta kasılmaması gerekiyor.

Denetim sırasında, özellikle trafik sigortası ve araç muayenesi olmayan araçlar tespit edilerek sahiplerine cezalar kesildi. Dünya Kadınlar Gününü Etkinlikle KutladıkLos Santos'un önde gelen haber ajanslarından Time olarak, 8 Mart Dünya Kadınlar Günü'nü özel bir etkinlikle kutladık. Etkinliğimizde, kendi alanlarında başarıya ulaşmış kadınlar konuşmalar yaparak katılımcılara ilham verdi.
Los Santos Üniversitesi'nden Rektör Judy Alonso, kadınların akademideki yerinin önemine vurgu yaparak, "Kadınlar bilimde, sanatta ve tüm alanlarda kendilerini kanıtlamışlardır. Bugün burada, kadınların toplumun her kesiminde nasıl önemli roller üstlendiğini görmek gurur verici," dedi.

Los Santos Şerif Departmanı'ndan Deputy Sheriff Christina Lawrence ise güvenlik sektöründe kadınların karşılaştığı zorluklardan bahsederek, "Bizler sahada sadece birer memur değiliz, aynı zamanda ilham kaynağıyız. Gücülü kadınlar olarak birbirimize destek olmalı, daha fazla kadını bu mesleklere teşvik etmeliyiz," şeklinde konuştu.
DINKA firmasının Kıdemli Başkan Yardımcısı Stella Carver, iş dünyasında kadınların yükselişine değindi. "Otomotiv sektörü gibi erkek egemen alanlarda bile kadınlar olarak başarımızı kanıtlıyoruz. Azim ve disiplinle her alanda söz sahibi olabiliriz," diyerek kadın girişimcileri cesaretlendirdi.
Adalet Bakanlığı'ndan Savcı Nara Marchand, hukukun kadın haklarını koruma konusundaki önemine dikkat çekti. "Kadın haklarını korumak, sadece hukuki bir mesele değil, toplumsal bir sorumluluktur. Eşitlik ve adalet için hep birlikte mücadele etmeliyiz," ifadelerini kullandı.
Los Santos Polis Departmanı'ndan Memur Almira Novikov ise emniyet teşkilatındaki kadınların kararlılığına vurgu yaptı. "Kadınlar, her alanda olduğu gibi polislikte de cesaretleriyle fark yaratıyor. Görev başında cinsiyet değil, yetenek ve azim ön planda olmalı," diyerek genç kadınları teşvik etti.

Los Santos İtfaiye ve Sağlık Departmanı'ndan Sargent Catherine Lloyd ise acil sağlık hizmetlerinde kadınların kritik rol oynadığını belirtti. "Hayat kurtarmak, insanlara yardım etmek bizim için sadece bir iş değil, bir yaşam tarzı. Kadınların sağlık sektöründeki gücü, toplumun daha sağlıklı ve güvenli olmasını sağlıyor," dedi.
Eski avukat ve Eski Savcı Katherine Ferrlynn, etkinliğe kişisel sebeplerden dolayı katılamasa da bir mesaj göndererek düşüncelerini paylaştı. "Kadınlar, tarih boyunca engellerle karşılaşmış ancak her seferinde bu engelleri aşmaktadır. Bugün burada olmamak benim için bir üzüntü, ancak bilmelisiniz ki hepinizin yolu aydın ve geleceği parlak. Dayanışma ve birlik, bizleri daha güclü kılacaktır."
Time olarak düzenlediğimiz bu anlamlı etkinlik, kadınların her alandaki başarılarını vurgularken, topluma güclü bir mesaj verdi. Katılımcılar, kadınların toplumun her alanında daha da güçlenmesi için birlikte çalışılması gerektiği konusunda hemfikir oldu.

Kaza Sonrası Tanınan Sürücü, Polislerden Kaçmaya Çalıştı!Los Santos'un pazar akşamı oldukça hareketli geçti. Vespucci Bulvarı üzerinde arttırılan sıkı denetimler ile daha sık görünen polis ekipleri olağan devriye sırasında viraj aldığı sırada Siyah Sedan bir araç ile küçük bir kaza atlattı. Kaza sonrası polis ekipleri Siyah Sedan şöförünü görmesiyle sirenlerini açarak kenara çekmesini belirtti. Siyah Sedan işbirliği yapıyor gibi görünüyordu ama bir anda 6 devriye aracını arkasında görünce işbirliğini bozarak kaçmayı denedi. Polis ve Şerif ekipleri kişiye megafondan durması gerektiğini defalarca dile getirmesine rağmen kaçma girişiminde bulunarak bulvar üzerinden şehir merkezine doğru yola koyuldu.

Henüz 1 mil bile uzaklaşamadı!Kaçış anında polis ekipleri megafon aracılığıyla sürücüye defalarca durması yönünde çağrıda bulundu. Ancak tüm uyarılara rağmen sürücü kaçmayı sürdürdü. Fakat 1 mil bile uzaklaşamadan, şehir merkezinde bir binanın altına sıkışarak kaçışına son vermek zorunda kaldı. Güvenlik güçleri anında harekete geçerek sürücüyü etkisiz hale getirdi ve gözaltına aldı. Alınan bilgiler ise Siyah Sedan şöförünün daha önce de denetimlerden kaçtığı ve memurlara direndiği öğrenildi.

Sivillerin Canını Hiçe Sayan Sürücü Uzun Süren Takip Sonrası Yakalandı!Güzide Los Santos'un bir pazar gecesinde yine trafik vakası! Polis raporlarına göre, yüksek hızla seyreden bir sürücü, bir yayaya hızla ve kontrolsüzce çarptı. Sürücü kaza sonrası durmak yerine olay yerinden kaçtı.
Olay yerine hızla intikal eden polis ekipleri, kaçan aracı tespit ederek takibe başladı. Ancak şüpheli, polisin 'dur' ihtarına uymayarak daha agresif bir sürüş sergilemeye başladı. Bu esnada birden fazla polis aracına da çarpan cinayete teşebbüste bulunan sürücü, güvenlik güçlerinin dikkatini daha da üzerine çekti. Şehir genelinde süren kovalamaca Vinewood'tan şehir dışına doğru kaçarken son buldu. Güvenlik güçlerine oldukça zor anlar yaşatan genç şöför şehirden tamamen çıkmadan pes etti ve aracından indirilerek polislerin güvenli yaklaşımı ile etkisiz hale getirilip kelepçelendi.

Gizli Sheriff Operasyonu Olumlu Sonuçlandı.04/04/2025 tarihinde, Operation Safe Streets Bureau tarafından yürütülen titiz teknik takip ve operasyon çalışmaları neticesinde, uyuşturucu ve silah ticareti yaptığı tespit edilen kimliği gizli tutulan şahıslar tutuklanmıştır.

- Yüksek miktarda uyuşturucu bitkisi ve tohumu,
- Yüksek miktarda kesici ve delici alet türleri,
- Yüksek miktarda silah eklentileri ve susturucular,
- Yüksek miktarda .45 ACP, 9mm, 5.56mm, 12 Gauge ve 7.62mm çapında çeşitli mühimmat,
Halkımızın güvenliğini sağlamak ve yasa dışı faaliyetleri önlemek adına yürütülen çalışmalarımız kararlılıkla sürdürülmektedir. Los Santos County Sheriffs Department olarak, toplum huzuru ve kamu güvenliği her zaman en öncelikli hedefimizdir.

LSSD Memuru Eleanor Weber Paleto Körfezi'nde Ölü Bulundu
Los Santos Şerif Departmanı (LSSD) mensubu Eleanor Weber için düzenlenen cenaze töreninde meslektaşları, ailesi ve çok sayıda vatandaş bir araya geldi. Paleto Bay bölgesinde, bir köprünün altında ölü olarak bulunan Weber'in ölümü şehir genelinde büyük üzüntü yaratırken, olayın detayları ise hâlâ netlik kazanmadı.

Törene katılan isimlerden biri, "Eleanor görevine bağlı, çevresindeki insanlar tarafından sevilen bir personeldi. Onu bu şekilde kaybetmek hepimizi derinden sarstı." ifadelerini kullandı.
Paleto Bay'de yaşanan olayın ardından başlatılan soruşturma sürerken, yetkililer vatandaşlardan konuya ilişkin bilgi sahibi olanların güvenlik birimleriyle iletişime geçmelerini istedi.
