Ivan Mackov, Fransa'nın Marsilya kentinde dünyaya geldi. Liman şehrinin sert sokaklarında büyüdü. Çocukluğundan itibaren hayatın kolay olmadığını öğrendi. Küçük yaşta disiplinli olmayı, konuşmadan gözlem yapmayı ve her zaman bir adım sonrasını düşünmeyi alışkanlık haline getirdi.

Ivan sakin görünmesine rağmen son derece kararlı biridir. Gereksiz konuşmaz, verdiği sözü tutar ve güvenini kazanan insanları kolay kolay yarı yolda bırakmaz. Soğukkanlı tavrı sayesinde en stresli anlarda bile kontrolünü kaybetmez.

Geçmişini geride bırakmak isteyen Ivan, yeni bir hayat kurmak amacıyla Los Santos'a geldi. İlk zamanlarında çeşitli işlerde çalışarak çevre edindi. Zamanla şehrin dengelerini, insanlarını ve kurallarını öğrenerek kendi adını duyurmaya başladı.
