14 yaşındaki Cezayirli bir çocuğun polis tarafından (ya da olayları kışkırtmak için polis kılığına girmiş ırkçılar tarafından) öldürülmesi sonucu Athena sakinleri sakinliklerini artık koruyamaz duruma gelirler ve Athena'yı cehenneme çevirirler. Öldürülen 14 yaşındaki Sami'nin abisi Büyük Polis teşkilatında polis olduğu için olayları sağduyu içinde çözmeye çalışır; ne var ki Büyük Abisi diğer kardeşi Karim çok öfkeledir ve küçük kardeşinin intikamını almadan durmayacağı yüzündeki ifadeden bellidir, polisin konuşma yaptığı esnada molotof kokteyli fırlatır ve ortalık yangın yerine döner.
